  • Richmond VCDL Meeting

    Published by Runcible on December 27, 2009 - 1:21pm
    Date:
    Thursday, January 7, 2010 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

    From Philip Van Cleave:

In order to prepare those who haven't been to the General Assembly before, I plan to present a primer on lobbying the General Assembly at the meeting, including video and slides. As with all VCDL membership meetings, it is open to the public, so bring friends, family, and coworkers!

You do not need to purchase a dinner to attend the meeting. Appetizers can be ordered during the meeting, for those who want them.

After the meeting, those who wish to have continued fellowship can stay at the restaurant and order dinner.

    Date:
    Wednesday, June 24, 2009 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

VCDL will have a membership meeting at the Richmond main library facility on Wednesday, June 24, at 7 PM. Thanks to Roy B. Scherer for having the meeting room appropriated.

We will have a special guest speaker: talk show personality Doc Thompson of WRVA! Doc spoke at Lobby Day and is a strong supporter for our right to keep and bear arms.

After Doc speaks, I will cover the various things that are cooking in Virginia and on Capitol Hill.

    LET'S PACK THE ROOM!

  • VCDL Membership Meeting in Midlothian, VA

    Published by Runcible on March 19, 2010 - 1:40pm
    Date:
    Thursday, April 1, 2010 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

The meeting will be called to order at 7:30 PM, but fellowship will begin at 7 PM.

You can order appetizers or meals during the meeting if you wish.

Following the meeting, those who would like to have dinner and continue their fellowship will simply stay at the restaurant.

NOTE: This is a very gun-owner friendly restaurant, which has specifically welcomed us to have our meeting there - so let's have a good turnout to thank them for their hospitality. They have excellent food, too.
